About the Event

Hybrid Session- join us in person or online!

Congress created OSHA to assure safe and healthful conditions for America’s working men and women by setting and enforcing standards and providing training, outreach, education, and compliance assistance. Under the OSHA law, employers are responsible for providing a safe and healthful workplace for their workers. Coupled with the efforts of employers, workers, safety and health professionals, unions, and advocates, OSHA, and its state partners have dramatically improved workplace safety.

During this OSHA session, we will discuss OSHA coverage, standards, enforcement, and the agency mission. Free OSHA handouts will be provided to all attendees and questions will be answered during this in-person event.

This OSHA series is a new strategic alliance between the Erie OSHA office and the Clarion University SBDC and Gannon University SBDC. The sessions will educate participants about federal regulatory requirements and will appeal to any safety & health professional, human resource official, manufacturing employees, and others.
