Gannon University Entrepreneurial Ecosystem

Running a small business is no easy task, fortunately there are myriad resources at Gannon University to help you along the way.  In addition to the SBDC, the Erie Technology Incubator (ETI), Gannon Makerspace, Gannon Beehive and The Valley Fab Lab are resources available to assist you during your entrepreneurial journey.

The Erie Technology Incubator (ETI) is located at 900 State Street in the heart of Erie's central business district in Gannon University's Center for Business Ingenuity (CBI). This entrepreneurial ecosystem encourages an unprecedented level of collaboration between budding entrepreneurs, business students, seasoned business faculty, and consultants in a facility that looks and feels like a major corporate headquarters. This type of collaboration further enhances the delivery of services to entrepreneurs in the ETI community.

The Gannon University Makerspace at the Center for Manufacturing and Technology provides opportunities for students and community partners to learn cutting-edge techniques and prepare for a successful career in manufacturing. The Makerspace strives to train a workforce prepared for the decentralized, inclusive, and sustainable future of manufacturing in Northwestern Pennsylvania (NWPA) and globally.

The Gannon Beehive is located at the Center for Business Ingenuity.

 

Services include:

The Best Practices Financial Analysis product
This Gannon University Beehive business product utilizes sound collection methodologies to select a business cluster that the Beehive customer is looking to compete in.

The Entrepreneur Presentation product
This Gannon University Beehive product is a collaborative business product that ties together business cluster information to evidence an entrepreneur market positioning with customer strategy information. The Entrepreneur Presentation product will translate cluster competition to idea/product uniqueness as well as competition attribute comparisons.

Crowd Funding Friendly Analysis
An entrepreneur's product may possess early crowd funding appeal. The Gannon University Beehive Crowd Funding Friendly Analysis product, a current Kickstarter scrape of current campaigns in the idea/product Kickstarter category, will be collected into an attribute chart.
